Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone. It was definitely a crazy one today. With my aunt and cousins in town from Texas, there was not a dull moment in the day. I woke up early and started helping in the kitchen with my mom and aunt. We took a well needed Starbucks run, and ran to the grocery store for last-minute necessities. We enjoyed fish tacos for breakfast, then started cooking all the dinner food. It was so fun to hangout on the front porch and just relax with everyone around. It has been a while since I have seen my aunt and cousins so having them around makes me so happy. We had the rest of the cousins from Tampa and my grandmother here for dinner as well. It was definitely a full house. I have been missing my dad a lot tonight as the night is winding down. Holidays are so hard without him, I am still waiting for the day it won’t hurt anymore. I was thinking of him earlier when we had to use surgical tools to remove some of the broth from around the turkey (there are pictures and videos to prove that actually happened). So many laughs were caused by that, it was very well one of my favorite moments out of the whole entire day. I hope that everyone has had a very Happy Thanksgiving.
