So my blog is typically mostly just a recap of what goes on in my life, but I have decided that this post is going to be a little different. This post is going to be aimed towards you, instead of me. I’m too tired today to think and write about my life, but I would love to write something that could help someone else.
My main goal in my life is to help and inspire other people, every single day. I love to use words to inspire others. I love to write, whether it’s on my blog, on The Odyssey, or even just through a text message.Words are so powerful, and if they are used the right way, they can really impact someone’s day. My goal is to soon write a book, but I first have to figure out how the heck to write a book. So that dream is on hold.
I don’t really know who reads my blog, but my hope is that this will reach someone who may need it today.
In the past 6 years, I have learned a lot and I want to share it with you. I have learned that life is short, and should always be enjoyed. But I have also learned that is not always possible. I have learned that stress comes out of nowhere, and sometimes for days at a time. Work, school, homework, being tired, it all causes stress at one point or another in our lives. Bad days happen, no one is immune to them. I have had more bad days than I can count on my two hands. In the beginning, I used to think that I was just unlucky, but in all honesty it was just caused by circumstances. But all those days, helped me grow into the person that I am today. No one likes to have stressful days because they aren’t fun, but they happen and it’s okay. Life isn’t perfect, and there is going to be stuff that happens to you, that you may not have ever imagined could happen to you. Sometimes you will want to quit. I’ve been there. During those days that bring on so much stress, I have learned that is important to find something that is good in everyday, whether it be the cup of coffee you had when you woke up, or the uplifting conversation you had with your roommate that morning. You can never go wrong with coffee, and good roommates. I also try everyday to write down three positive things that happened in my day. So today my list of positive things that happened would be running into my old orientation leader on campus, not having homework today since I was over productive yesterday, and the fact that our fire alarm is fixed so no more being woken up at 1:30am YAY. Despite the fact that I am exhausted due to lack of sleep from last night, I was still able to find some things, and that always make me feel good. I recommend that everyone do it.

Happy Wednesday, and have a great rest of the week!
